Request our fees

We have a set of standardised building regulation fees with a predetermined level of inspection and plan checking time (where relevant) for common projects. These fees presume that you have appointed competent designers and builders who have a track record of successfully undertaking the type of work planned, which is now a legal requirement under Part 2A of the Building Regulations 2010.

If your project is not on this list, or is a combination of project types, please complete the fee request form below and we will individually determine the fees for you.

Our fees are based on an estimate of the time we think it will take to check any plans, and inspect the work as it progresses.

Because our charges reflect the time we estimate to spend on each project, our fees are not fixed for the life of the project.

Please remember to submit the fee with your application. Where applicable, we will invoice the inspection fee after work has started.

Fees are based on the building control charging scheme and include VAT at 20%. Find out more about how we set our fees.
